Marriage certificate affidavits

For filling GC for parents we dont have my parents marriage certificate and we plan to submit a marriage certificate affidavits for parent's GC along with Non availability from Muncipal. Does anyone has a sample that they can share for this?

I am also in similar situation. Just curious, do you have to submit Non availability of marriage certificate from Muncipality? As per guidelines, just the affidavit should be ok.

My understanding is that NOn availablity of marriage certificate is required for primary evidence. I am also having lot of difficulty in getting this as the local Muncipality claims that they have never issued a Non availability of marriage certificate ever.

My parents are in US so they cant even register their marriage in India.
