Mumbai consulate interview invitation for parents green card- during covid times.

My parents i130 process was approved last year and all civil documents were uploaded and accepted and I got a notification that the case is documentarily complete in Nov 2020. The email said that the next step will be that the Mumbai consulate will schedule the interview for us and send a letter/email with invitation details. So far we haven't heard back. We are assuming that the delay is due to covid. Anyway the previous administration had banned entry for new immigrants in most cases till March 31st (although spouse GC was not included in the ban) and also the new administration has removed the ban. Since the covid situation is still not in control in India, is there anyone who is in same boat as us? I mean waiting for the interview letter since last 6 months+
Did anyone contact the embassy to get any info on what's the plan to resume the applications? I am thinking they are only processing urgent and emergency cases (not sure though as I haven't contacted them myself yet). Any further information will help. Thanks.

We are also in the same situation . Interviews scheduled for April & May 2021 have been cancelled due to Covid situation in Mumbai .
There is huge backlog of old cases in 2020 and also cancelled interviews cases in 2021 .
Therefore , I think cases which have been DQed recently will find their turn for interviews not before 6 months . Good Luck .
