I 485 signature question

My mothers passport has her signature in HIndi. Is it ok to sign in English on I-485 or it has to be in Hindi to match with her passport? If she has to sign in hindi do I have to get the interpreter signature also?

A signature does not have to be in any specific language. If you can come up with something creative that you can reproduce again and again on paper, you can call it your signature if you wish to.

She can sign in whatever language she wants and there is no translation needed.
