Is parent's birth certificate required?

We are applying GC for parents, Is DOB for parents is mandatory since it is very difficult to get now from India or my DOB and parents Passport is enough to start the process.

What is DOB?

I guess you mean birth certificate. Copy of Birth certificate is essential for the prompt approval of your file. When you are submitting I-130, photocopy of your (petitioner) birth certificate and photocopies of your parents (immigrant) birth certificate should be submitted.
