Hello,
I am filing I-864 and DS-260 for my parents. They had two separate I-130 so I will be filing their I-864 and DS-260 forms separately. Currently, my household consists of my husband and myself. These are my questions:
I-864 - each parent will have a separate form
Part 3. Item 29. Enter the total number of immigrants you are sponsoring on this affidavit ( will it be 1) ?
Part 5. Household size - (will it be 3)? (My husband, myself and one immigrating parent)
Should I mention in the last page under "additional information" of my mothers application, that I have filed a separate application for my father and vice versa?
DS-260- each parent will have a separate form
For mother's application, how should I answer this question
" Is your spouse immigrating with you? "
"Is your spouse immigrating with you at a later date to join you?"
Does the same principle as of the I-864 apply here? If that is the case, should the answer be NO to both these questions?
