I got my citizenship few months back and would like to sponsor my Indian parents GC. I checked with them and they have a valid marriage certificate but they do not have birth certificates. Is there any valid alternate document that USCIS would accept? Given the pandemic, does it make sense to apply for consular processing instead of waiting for them to come here and then apply for GC? If on consular processing, can they still travel to US based on their visitor visa when travel opens up? Thanks for the read and look forward hearing back from you!
