Looking to sponsor GC for my MIL, May i know how long will it take for the entire process to be completed ?
Which would be soon, she staying in India and we apply here OR apply here while she visits here.

Hi,
There is two scenario.
If Beneficiary is in the USA: You can file the I-130 and I-485 petition together. But first I-130 petition will be adjudicated followed by I-485. I-130 petition will take minimum 3 months of time. The whole process will take minimum one year.
If beneficiary is outside of USA: First file I-130 petition and wait for approval.. Once I-130 petition is approved, It will be notified to National Visa Center (NVC) and you will have Adjustment of status Interview at embassy/consulate once visa number is available. This process will take 12 to 24 months approximately.
