Green card sponser for married brother

hi,
i am US citizen and my brother working in US and holds L1B visa. His wife also in US with H1B visa.

i need to sponsor green card to my brother. i like to know the below details

1. how long it will take to get the green card once i file I-130
2. once i file I-130 documents, will it impact my brother traveling to india.
3. please advice if you see better option for the above scenario

The scenario you are thinking is the best way to go. If you are not from India or China, it may take nine years, plus or minus.
If he is traveling to US going back and forth it MAY make a difference and quite possible in his current status.

i think if we are from India it take ~10 years
