I’m the principal beneficiary of an approved I-130 petition (f4). My spouse and child are derivative beneficiaries on the same petition. My family and I are currently in the US on an L2 visa ( self and son) . My spouse is working here on an L1 visa. Am I eligible to adjust status for myself and my family ( spouse , son) ?

No. You will need to wait until a visa number is available for your category and priority date. According to the current Visa bulletin https://www.immihelp.com/october-2021-visa-bulletin/
visa numbers are available for F4 petitions that were filed before 2007 for people born in most countries (or even longer ago for people born in India, Mexico, or the Philippines). If your I-130 just got approved, I am guessing your I-130 was probably filed years after 2007, so you still have a while to wait.
This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.
