Dear Community members,
We are in the process of waiting for our I-130 application for our baby daughter (1 year old) to be approved. Currently it is being reviewed by USCIS (since April 2021).
My wife, our son (3 years old) and me have LPR status and we are all in Germany since February 2021.
Can anyone give an advise on the options we have for our baby daughter to enter the US? We are not sure if USCIS will approve I-130 and she'll get immigrant visa until Feb 2022. This is theoretically the last date to enter the US, since our last departure was in February 2021 and entering after Feb 2022 is not an option (losing the LPR status).
- Does it make sense to wait for USCIS to approve the application and then hopefully get immigration Visa?
- or applying for humanitarian parole for example?
- some other option to enter the US with baby?
Thank you very much in advance.
Best,
Mirko
