My mom dad hold green card and live in New York. Currently they are in India and due to Covid situation in India and outside they couldn't travel earlier. They came from US in November 2020.
They booked tickets to travel back to US in Oct however both fell ill with Dengue and had to be hospitalised. They rebooked ticket for early November but this time mom got heart attack and had to go through surgery (2 days ago). She is now recovering from it and still in hospital but it will take time and not allowed to travel by doctors for atleast month.
It looks liks she won't be able to return within 365 days window. Could you pls share yout thoughts as what should be do. I understand there is SB-1 visa so if dad manage to come back would it be easier to get SB-1. Does SB-1 visa return green card? Also if there is another option except SB-1?
