Please do consider below forms for parents green card filing.. These are total number of forms till end stage.

• Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative
• Forms DS-260, Immigrant Visa Electronic Application
• DS-261, Online Choice of Address and agent
• Form I-864 Affidavit of Support
• Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status
• Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record

The main forms are the I-130 petition and I-485 Adjustment of Status. Each form requires many documents and supporting forms. For example I-485 needs I-693 medical and I-864 Affidavit of Support.

It is recommended to also file I-765 for EAD and I-131 for Advance Parole together with the I-485. The I-765 and I-131 are free for I-485 applicants.

My mom has classic issue with her name, on her Indian passport here last name is empty and entire name is in first name and on US visa it has FNU as First Name and entire name in last name. I really would like to straighten this out while filing for green card. Can you please advice me how to do that? Is that a really big deal?
