Hi, my husband and I are trying to get my green card through marriage. I am about to file all the paper together, but I have some problem. I thought I could just send latest year's tax return, but I just figured out I need 3 years of it. I know I was silly... We just checked his tax return, but we only found 2009, 2008, 2006 and 2005. He doesn't know where his 2007 tax return is. Can I just send 2009, 2008, and 2006? Or is there anyway he can get his 2007 tax return back again? Oh, he did tax return by a firm. It would be really glad if I can get the answer as soon as possible. Thanks in advance!!!!!!!

you can get the transcript of your tax return for free from irs by calling them and ordering it through automated phone service. You get it within 10 days. Plus, if you provide the tax transcript, you don't need W2's and stuffs. Its easier and package is smaller too. -
