  • I-864 and I-864a Total income ?

We are doing i-864 (myself as sponsor) and i-864a (my wife as household member) for my parents. In i-864, there are fields in Part 6 q24a - 24c, where they ask for last 3 years of tax return total incomes ? We file our taxes as Married filing jointly and thus have both my (sponsor) and my wife’s (household member) incomes as combined reported on tax returns .
My question is what total incomes I should put in i-864 (myself) and i-864a (my spouse) ? Should I put total combined income as in our tax returns or try to see how much we had individually for those years. Thanks.

You put the exact number it says on the "total income" line of your tax returns, no matter how you filed. So the number will reflect both of your incomes if you filed as Married Filing Jointly, or reflect only your income if you filed as Married Filing Separately or Single. Since you guys filed jointly, the number on your I-864 and her I-864A should be the same.
