relatives in my country

my relatives live overseas, i was wonder if i can ask for them,im a naturalized citizen ,Im off welfare(food stamps,cash,health insurance), i dont feel proud of it but I needed it in those days..now i'm working ..would i have any problem filing for them..any suggestion thxs
