Scheduling VAC and Consulate appointment

Hello,

My wife's and daughter's immigrant visa case is now ready for final processing and asked to schedule VAC and consulate appointment (as my wife couldn't make it to the first appointment which the consulate scheduled due to medical reasons)

I have a question regarding this scheduling process.
Should I schedule appointments for my daughter also who is 11 years? I have read online that for kids under 14 years VAC and Consulate interviews are not required. Please clarify.

Secondly, when I log into cgi under my wife's profile, it doesn't give me an option to add my daughter as dependent (or a fellow traveller) does that mean I have to create two separate appointments for both?

Will I be allowed to select Consulate appointment dates after selecting VAC appointment date?

Please clarify.

Hi Raghuram, sorry I do not have the information on the same. Not sure if your family members are falling within IR category or Family visa category. My wife and daughter are waiting for the interview under Family visa category. If you are not from the IR (Immediate Relative of US Citizen) category, could you please tell me what the priority date of your I-130 petition OR when you were documentarily qualified? We are waiting for a long long time and not getting any update. Any useful information that you could share, would be helpful for me and my family. Thank you.
