  • Third time fingerprint notice

    Hi,

We applied I-485 and I-130 concurrently (family based) for my father and got finger prints done in first week of September-2010. After 3 weeks, we got another fingerprint notice from USCIS saying that the FBI could not process his fingerprints. We have the fingerprints taken for the second time during third week of September-2010. We got another fingerprint notice today with the same reason (FBI could not process his fingerprints). We are going for the fingerprint third time now in 5 weeks!!

Please share your experiences if anyone went through this ordeal. Is there anything we can do about this?

Please inform the folks at the ASC center about this issue. Maybe they have to do something special. Don't wait for the actual appointment date, take him earlier as they have no problems with that.

Thanks daru786. Will let them know about it. Is it very rare situation or do you know any cases where this kind of situation happened before?

One case I remember was the applicant did have all the 10 fingers. There are always some exceptions for special cases.
