Please help: need to reschedule consular interview

I'm going through the GC process for my parents. After waiting for years, we got the email for consular interview at Mumbai

1) We missed the step for doing biometric/fingerprinting and went to Mumbai for interview. we were sent back to chennai.
2) I scheduled the biometric/fingerprinting appointment at Chennai and it was successfully completed. I booked this through
3) I was asked to go through this website again for consular interview. The issue is, I get a message that there are no appointments available.

Has anyone had any luck getting reinterview for consular?

Thanks for the response. Have you found anything? Can you confirm that what the system shows (OFC appointment with VAC center) isn't same as consular interview at embassy?

Which visa category do they have? What’s the priority date?
