    Hi
I am sponsoring for my husband and I need submit affidavit of support.

The house hold member number is 3.
    According to I864 P the 125% comes to $22,887

My 2009 Tax return was $19,570.43

    $22, 887.00-$19,570.43=$3,316.57

    $3,316.57x3=$9,949.71

My question is would I need to have $9,949.71 in my account to qualify?

Any help with this would be gladly appreciate it!

You may need to show personal assets/properties. You may also use a co-sponsor to qualify, co-sponsor does not need to be a relative.

What is your current income? Have you gotten a raise or a better job, or more hours since that 2009 return was filed? What is your today income multiplied out to a yearly salary? That's the number to use. Then you prove that's your current income with a letter from your employer and about 6 recent pay slips. I wanted to mention that because it might bump you up a bit.

My current income is $22,773, I include the letter from my employer and a copy of six check stubs when I submitted the original paperwork, the only thing I didnt include with the original paperwork was a letter from the bank and a copy of my bank statements. They contacted me the second time stating that they needed more evidence, thats when I sent them the copy of the bank statements and the letter from my bank. Was I suppose to send them another letter from my employer and six more check stubs along with the the information from my bank? The letter from my bank showed that I had $6000 dollars in my bank account, Im thinking that should of been enough for me to qualify...What do you think? what is your suggestion?
