I am the child of an LPR. I filed my I-485 and have my interview in a week. It is very hard to find information regarding 1-485 for children of LPR. When doing research, I am only finding helpful posts and threads for AOS for married individuals. So I started this thread to not only gain information for myself but so anyone who may be having this issue as well would be able to have common questions regarding the process and interview answered. If anyone with experience as a child of an LPR or has knowledge of the processes, please let me know- What was the interview like and what questions were asked? We’re you approved immediately, had to wait for case to be reviewed, or were you denied? If you were adjusting status from F1 to LPR, What documents did you need to present? Did anyone ever terminate stays while their I-485 was pending and how did this affect your interview process?
