  • My Mom GC - counselling process vs IN US process

    Hi,
Being a citizen, I applied I-130 (GC) for my mom while she was in India. She had to come to USA on Sep 24 and her 1-130 got approved on Sep 23.
Now I also got a case number from NVC too which is valid for 1year.
I am trying to evaluate my best options, should I still opt for counselling process still because she may go back to India by end of Jan 2011 or apply for the following while she is in USA (but I know she may have to stay untill the below are processed).
    I-864, I-864a, G-325a, I-693 and I-485.

Please help me on this issue.

    Thanks

As long as the I-485 is approved there is no need to leave the country. Act fast.

    Good luck.
