Urgent! I-130 related question. Please answer

Hi everyone!

I filed an I-130 for my mother and her documents were approved and her interview date will be notified soon.

I have an urgent question in this regard. Does the interview notice go to the applicant by mail or email? My attorney said that it will come by email only and not by postal mail. If someone has recently received their I-130 interview notice, please answer as soon as possible. How was it sent to the applicant, by postal mail or email?

My understanding is that if email is provided then it will come by email. Postal invite is only possible if emails not provided
