My parents are in India and I am planning to apply for my parents IR5 but they didn't have their marriage certificate. They didn't registered it in 1975. I got two marriage affidavits from close relatives and I have a school admission record from the school where I studied my 1st to 5th grade along with my certificate. Are these documents sufficient to get their I-130 petition approved? Or I must have the marriage certificate or non availability of marriage certificate from local authorities?
