How can I join my greencard holder girlfriend to the US.

Hello all,
I have been with my girlfriend for a few years now and we also live together, both Dutch. My girlfriend got a green card at a later age and therefore will be going to America soon.We are trying to figure out if there is a possibility for me to join here at some point? Could someone advise us on how to go about this?

Does she already have a green card? Or does she just have an immigrant visa? (You said "will be going to America soon", but she can only be a permanent resident if she has already been to the US.)
