Hello! I received RFE for my mom's GC asking for the following:
1. Name change proof - Documentary evidence of a name change may include, but is not limited to, a birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce decree, death certificate (of the spouse whose name you used), or other legal document. Acceptable evidence must show that the statistic or event was registered with civil authority.
Would my dad's death certificate suffice or need any other docs? Don't have their marriage certificate. Her passport has my dad's name as well. Already submitted mom's birth certificate along with I-130.
2. I-693 needs to be submitted. Civil surgeon signed the form in August 2021, so it is still valid and not expired. Do I need to submit a new form using the current format regardless or use the existing one?
