Applying for I-485 after another I-485 was denied. Tips?

Hi! Last year I tried to do the adjustment of status through the form I-140/National Interest Waiver. Unfortunately, I could not provide evidence to respond to RFE and my application was denied. This year I married a US citizen, and we have already submitted an I-130; now I'm working on my I-485. What are the chances that my marriage-based I-485 will be denied since my previous NIW-based I-485 was denied? What steps should I take if that happens?

Your previous I-485 denial shouldn't affect this I-485. That one was denied because you were not eligible (or couldn't show that you were eligible) for that basis; now you are applying on a different basis.
