UK: Detailed interview experience for F2b category

Yesterday, December 2nd, I had my F2b immigrant visa interview at London US embassy and got it approved ....here is how the day unfolded:
My appointment was 8:30am, and I arrived outside at 7.30am. The weather was terrible, snowing and about -2celcius. Only four other people were in the queue, and I was surprised at the low turnout and put it down to the bad weather (many trains had been cancelled).
The first security guard asked to see my interview letter, I showed it to him and walked towards the glass security structure where another security guard on the door asked to see my letter again (only 10 feet away from the first guy!!? ). I entered the glass structure and placed my belongings into a plastic bin which was then placed onto a conveyer belt and put through a detector. I walked through a detector (exactly the same procedure as at airports). I was then told to turn right and walk around the building towards some steps where I entered the embassy.
Upon entering the embassy the receptionist asked to see my letter and gave me a ticket with a number on it. The number started with 'I', which I figured out meant 'Immigrant' because other tickets began with 'N' - 'Non Immigrant'.
The moment the token was given to me ..my number was called at kiosk1.
A Lady was waiting with a folder containing all the documents my mom, joint sponsor and I had sent to the NVC. She took the scan of of all the 10 fingers. She asked me for my passport, looked at it, did something on her computer, then asked me for the ticket given to me at the reception (which is a sticker) and briefly looked through the documents infront of her. She then asked me if i had travelled to USA before..and gave her my valid US visa on old passport. She was filling up a form and asked if I had ever been arrested(no), Whether i married (no). She also gave a form to sign which said i should not marry untill i get my green card. Asked me when I planned to move to the USA (I told her Jan), and she gave me a pink form to fill out with delivery details for my visa/passport and handed me a white envelope with the hard disk containing my Chest X-ray. She asked me to carry the chest xray with me to US and give at POE. Then she told me to sit back down and wait for my number to be called again.
I waited another 15-20 minutes and was called to window 25. A man was waiting for me with the same folder containing the documents as well as my passports Old and new. He asked me to take Oath (Just say I do). Took the finger scans again. He browsed through the documents and turned to his computer. He was friendly, asked me how I was, then asked me the following questions:
1. How long have been my parents staying in US?
2. Since I had requested interview post transfer of my case from mumbai to London he asked me What do I currently do for a living?
3. Where will you live in the United States?
He cancelled my old visitor visa with cancelled without prejudice stamp and mentioned that it will no longer be necessary as i am going as immigrant. He returned me my birth certificates orignal copy.
I answered all his questions without hesitation. He then said "OK (Mr Mehta) your visa is approved, congratulations".
I was very excited..the thought of reuniting with family...I almost cried with joy. .He told me to take the pink form with delivery instructions that I had filled out earlier to the courier desk. It cost £14, and the lady told me it should be delivered within 7-10 working days, but could take up to 2 weeks because of the heavy snow we are having in the UK at the moment.
Waiting for my package to arrive.
