Hi,
I am US citizen and I am planning to sponsor my parents for family-based green-card.
However, I have been finding name mismatch between various documents.
For example, my father's name in all the documents (my passport, his passport etc) is mentioned as "Naresh".
However, in my birth-certificate , my father's name is mentioned as "Nareshchandra".
My question is--> What should I do so that this name mismatch does not cause issues during green-card process? Do I need to create any affidavit or some other document?
My followup question is--> My parent's marriage certificate has my father's name mentioned as "Nareshkumar" at one place and in the same certificate, his name is mentioned as "Naresh" at another place. Again, What should I do so that this name mismatch does not cause issues during green-card process?
(I am in USA and right now, my parents are in India)
Your help/feedback/suggestions are very sincerely appreciated.
Thanks in advance-
Nikhil
