Yes. Also, if u r inside US, u can even apply for 485 along with I-130.

Consular Processing for Green Card

I have no pay stubs with valid H1B since one year, so do I need to leave the country and reenter with existing 797 & H1visa to re validate my status to apply Consular Processing or just fine with leave the country and apply Consular Processing from home country.

For some reason I need to go my home country for some time.
