Hi,
i am applying for my parents I-130. I have prepared affidavit from attorney in India with 2 witness which includes required info as per USCIS instruction
"Each written statement must contain the following information regarding the individual making the written statement: his or her full name, address, date and place of birth, full information concerning the event, and complete details explaining how the individual acquired personal knowledge of the event."
Instruction also says to include "Each individual's written statement must include the following declaration: "I declare (or certify, verify, or state) under penalty of perjury under the laws of the United States of America that the foregoing is true and correct. Executed on [date], [signature]."
Instead of this In the written affidavit mentions "I have made this affidavit to produce before the appropriate authority concern. I solemnly declare and confirm that the above mentioned all details are true and correct to my knowledge and belief and I have not concealed or misinterpret any facts. I know that making false affidavit is a criminal offence . That what i have stated above is true to the best of my knowledge."
I need advise that if exact words mentioned in the instruction is not captured will that be an issue for the processing.
I also have secondary evidence for their birth date which is school leaving certificate but it is in native language. Is there an option to write a supportive document to explain the detail in English and person who know the native language can make the affidavit saying he/she is knowledgeable of the native language and the interpretation is accurate with adding exact words from the instruction page.
Please advise if some has come across this situations.
Thanks in advance.
