Hi,
I am US Citizen. I was relocated to India for personal reasons and I stayed in India for last 5 years. I got married in India and I have filed for my wife's Green Card in Mumbai in March-2023. Before applying my attorney had mentioned it will take 12-16 months for entire process. It's been 6 months and there is no change in status. I am in US now for work, and I was expecting in next 6 to 10 months my wife will get green card and join me here. But now my attorney says it will take 55 months. I just wanted to verify if this is true, how to track the application etc. If anybody is in similar situation, kindly guide me.
