    Father of a US infant citizen

    Hi
    I am a new father of a child born in the US. I wish to begin proceedings to ultimately move there from the UK. I'm trying to get as much free advice as I can before I start paying, as it's very costly! I'm thinking the I-30 form followed by the I-485 would be the best way to go? Does anyone have any advice?

        The mother of your child cannot petition you unless they are your spouse, i.e. they are married to you.
