  • 6 months to move to the U.S.: I-130 Process and B2

I’m seeking advice and insights on the best approach for my family and me to move to the U.S. in June 2025. Here’s a little about our situation:
    • My wife is a U.S. citizen.
    • We currently live in Germany and have been married for 17 years.
    • We own property in both Germany and the U.S.
    • We have five children, aged 4 to 14.

The standard procedure would be the I-130 process. But we found out that it takes 15 months to go through the consular processing! Therefore we are looking for another solution.

Does anybody know, if there is an alternative to be able to move to the U.S. earlier?
    • Would it be possible to get a B2 Visa in the meantime?
    • Can we enter the U.S. on a Tourist Visa and then adjust the status?
    • ... any other ideas?

We are not interested in any illegal process, as we don't want to get into conflict with anybody! But maybe there is a creative solution for our specific situation, that we are not aware of.

Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge and experiences!
