Currently on H1B and Filing AOS

Hi,

I tried searching the forum but couldnt find an answer to my question. My apologies if this has already been answered.

I am on H1B and filing my green card based on marriage to a USC. Does anybody have an idea as to when can I start working for employers without a need for sponsorship?

I know I can after the plastic green card, but is there a temporary document on the basis of which I can switch my job without H1B transfer as this time?

I am not an expert here but afaik, once you get an EAD I765 approved, you can start working.
