I just got my I-130 approved for my father. He is a widow, now our case is with NVC, I have upload documents. My parents got married over 50 years ago and that time had no marriage certificate in India. My mother passed away 2 years ago. During NVC stage do we still need marriage certificate of my parents? Do I upload my mother’s death certificate, if yes then under what category? We got affidavit created by relatives who attended the marriage, for the marriage proofs. But as my mother is no more, should we need that? I applied my father’s petition after my mother passed away.
