Rescheduling Immigrant Visa Interview
My wife has her Immigrant Visa Interview (IR1 Spouse of US Citizen) scheduled in Mumbai, India on 15th March. Unfortunately she won't be able to attend the interview (due to some medical situation). We emailed visa scheduling support but we got the below response to our email
You may reschedule both appointments (VAC and Consular Interview) from your profile only after the appointment date has passed.
Does anyone has any experience with rescheduling?
Also, her interview was scheduled by NVC. So will we be scheduling the interview on our own or will NVC do it again for us?
So hoping that they will let us reschedule and not mark her as 'No Show' for the interview.
