Query for my parents

Dear Friends,

My father and mother got green card approved and are visiting USA soon. Someone told me that at the port of entry the immigration officer is going to ask them that Do they intend to work in USA? Right now they dont have any plan to work here and they will reply NO. In future can they work if they say No right now or should they say yes for the question even if they dont intend to work here?

I don't think such a question will be asked. Immigrant Visa holders (GC) are unconditionally allowed to work any way. But if you sponsored their GC, they may be asked about your ability to support them.
