Hey all,
My wife is a USC and We are about to file to get me a greencard. I am in the US right now entered legally and didnt overstay and all that...
I had a bunch of questions:
1) I am currently on an F1 Student Visa. the visa expires in 05/11, my I20 expires in dec2011, and I am graduating from school in 5/11
On the I-485, what should I put on the expiration of the "current USCIS status expires on" Should I put 5/11 or 12/11?
2) on I130, on "Date arrived", should I put the last arrival (same as on my I-94)?
3) on I-131, I want to be able to leave the US at some point in the future, but not sure about the dates. How can I handle that?
4) on I-485, Should I select the 1st option in application type? An immigrant petition giving me .... even though I am filing everything together?
5) On I-765 (Application for Employment authorization), I can check the 1st checkbox saying (permission to accept employment) even though I dont have any offer from any employer that I can accept?
6) On I-864 part5. I am leaving c blank since Im already counted above. Is that ok?
7) on g-325a, What if I dont remember the exact details about where I lived for the past 5 years (I could be missing couple of addresses... can I get in trouble for that? Also if I dont have enough space can I just attach a piece of paper with the rest of the list?
8) Do I need a seperate g-1145 form for each form I am submitting, or just one is enough if I am sending everything at once?
9) this is just to make sure, I am about to send all these forms:
g-325a (myself and wife)
i-130
i-131
i-485
i-765
i-865
Am I missing anything here?
10) How many passport pics do I need to send for everything. So far I think I read 2 total, is that correct?
11) If I file everything together at once, I am going to have to pay for the i-485 fee and the i-131 fee, nothing else right?
12) How long will I have to wait to get a work permit
13) Can I use FEDEX or UPS to send everything?
Thank you so much!! I hope these answers will help me as well as other that would have similar questions!
