On the GC interview date on 02/07/2011 the officer requested RFE for Police clearance certificate as the fingerprints could not be verified and said that he will approve it and send in the GC by mail. We submitted the requested form two days letter. We have international travel on 03/06/2011. We took an Infopass appointment and enquired on the case and it is still pending and most likely would be looked upon in the next month.
Can we travel with a valid Advance parole and then mail the GC vai post to enable entry into US later?
We enquired with the local INS office and the officer said that we can but was not confident though.
Any comments?
