Procedure for applying for GC after coming to USA on Visitior visa for parents

hello,

I am US citizen MY parents have multipurpose 10 years visitor visa and they are coming on this visa I am looking forward to apply for green card petetion for them in usa as I came to know that its faster if you apply in usa.. can somebody advise that what doccumentation/ application procedure i need to do for that and also how long it will take to get greencard for my parents. Appreciated for answering in advance. thanks

File form I-130 and I-485 for them after they are here. Make sure you file after they come here and not before.

same situation

My son is a USC and looking to file for IR-5 ...I'm looking to spend Christmas with him this year in the US ...Would we have any consequences filing for I-130 when I there?? I've seem people saying that is fraud to do that??
