Hi,
I am english and still live in England. My son who lives and works in America is now an American citizen. He is in the process of petitioning for me to join him in America. If I am successful in obtaining a green card how long do I have before I must move to the USA. I obviously have work commitments here in England and would need time to tie up loose ends here. Does the US government allow a certain period of time for me to move to the USA before my green card offer would expire? Many thanks.
