Green Card for my sister on F1 visa

Hi,

I want to apply for GC for my sis who is on a F1 visa currently in the US. If I apply for her GC would it adversely affect her getting a CPT, OPT or H1 visa? Please advise.

This may not help much but my wife is an F-1 student now and we are about to apply for her green card (adjustment of status). Someone in the international studies department told her she will not be able to apply for OPT after she graduates if her adjustment of status is still in process.

That is far from an official or comprehensive explanation but that's all I know. Hope you find what you're looking for!
