Hi,
My parents filed immigration for my sister in the year 1994. By the time her case was active and received documents (2001) from nvc for further processing, my parents passed away and her case became inactive (because of primary sponsers).
I came to US on H1 and got citizenship few weeks back. I wanted to file for my sister as a sibling. She is married with 2 kids.
My question is - Since her case became inactive due to the parents demise, does she has to wait for several years or do they consider her previous petition and make it expedite. Do NVC consider this as a fresh
application?
