Want Green Card before Travel

I would like find out what needs to be done i got married to an American who I met last year when I first came to the U.S. Had gone back home and came again to see her and my stay is still valid,we want to travel to Africa and she wants me to apply for a green card before we go please help with information what forms we need and how much it will cost us and the documents needed.Awaiting for your response.
