married to spouse in india...GC questions

Hi , Firstly thanks for all the clear articles on immihelp.com.
I had a question. I am currently in the US on a B1/B2 visa...

My wife and myself married in India in 3 months ago. Currently i am doing some research to start a business in the us, but I would also like to start my green card procedure.

1.) The whole GC process seems clear on immihelp, Would the users on immihelp still suggest using a lawyer ?

2.) Can I use my indian marriage certificate as proof of relationship with my spouse ? Or do i need to get married in the US again. Also I am the beneficiary who is in the US on a B1/B2

In our case, I am the petitioner and I filed for my spouse myself. You can do it too. Looks like you have already been doing a lot of reading. So, you should be fine. Keep reading different threads here, there is plenty of information.

Regarding marriage certificate, the one that you obtained from India is enough. You don't need to get married in US again.
