I sent all the paperwork - I130, I1485, I131 and affidavit ... exactly a month ago today and so far no receipt, no check cashed and no email for my 1145.
I sent by priority mail - certified and have a conformation that the package was delivered.
Maybe I should have sent to the lockbox instead of the south dearborn ave address in chicago.
I called the uscis office and they said apply for a visitor visa extension as they cant get this information.
Anybody has been in this situation ? Should I cancel my checks and send another application ?
