I am very new to this form and really this whole issue I am having. I am a non citizen who is here in the US with a TPS permit, I am orignaliy from Honduras and cave here when I was young. Long story short every year I have to renew my TPS which is not a problem even though it is on my wallet but it is what it is. My girlfriend and I have been thinking about getting married, there are a number of reason this would great of course and i didnt really think about the whole immigration issue untill today. she was born here. we have documentation of us being together and that this is not a so called "set up" for a green card and beyond, we also have people can stand up for us sort to say to inform the court or INS that this is real. I just dont know where to start. Do I get married before I have to re-new my TPS in jan of 2012? what do I do once we have your marriage license? how much would something like this cost? any help would be greatful, thank you!
