I have an immigration violation and an entry bar to U.S for 10 years which will expire in 2014. My daughter, who is a citizen and petitioner is applying for my green card. What are the implications in the process of a GC with a violation.

I personally believe that your petition can only be filed if you complete 10 years ban. Then your US citiz daughter shud be 21+ years and her income enough to sponsor you or joint sponsor would be needed. But there might be complications..so take advise from immigration attorney.

Does any one know about 'Waiver of Ineligibility'? There are two different forms for immigrant and non-immigrant visas. Does it have to applied simultaneously with the GC petition or later when asked for by the USCIS.
How much time does it take or where can one get more information for the procedure.Comment
