Green Card for Brother-But no DOB-Help!!!

Hi,

I need to file GC for my brother, but we dont have Date of Birth Certificate. It will be not possible to get DOB. He has a passport which has DOB, Mother name and father name.

Can that be use instead of DOB. Please answer to this question as there is no help available on this question.
