Can my mom travel while GC in process ?

My mom has just done finger prints and I was told that it would take another 1-2 months or so to receive the interview letter. She currently has 10 year multiple entry visa to US from India. Can she travel for a short trip to India and come back before the interview letter arrives ? Along with GC application, I also filed I-131 for travel and have receipt. I appreciate your help.

She should not travel out of US before having Advance Parole document in hand; after that, yes.
